We have been regular visitors to Orkney since 1990, with boats of various sizes. We were very pleased to see the marinas being built. They are an excellent facility.

The Ba', a great Orkney tradition, is a rugby-like game played with a hand crafted leather Ba’ and takes place twice a year on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day in the streets of Kirkwall. Up to 200 Uppies and Doonies battle for several hours to gain the trophy watched by huge crowds of locals and visitors.
